  1. In dec 2014, Valve updated CS GO to better perform on Linux. So, the
    question is how much better? Are we closer to being on par with Windows
    users now? Come check out this first test on Nvidia hardware, which pits
    Ubuntu 14.10 against Windows 8.1 ! 

  2. +Frostfach RWE You should actually be seeing very similar performance to my
    card. I’d wager you’d likely see +10 to +30 fps in some parts, give it a
    run and check it out :)

  5. I’m really hyped for the new gl software that valve is going to announce :]
    (next gen is here open gl will dominate direct3d and remove the expensive
    DirectX architect and full open gl extension in gpu)

  8. I think official championships will choose Ubuntu as main OS, these lags on
    Windows will make professional players switch to Linux.
