  1. No. Windows PCs come loaded with many unnecessary programs. You can uninstall things you don’t use, such as Rhapsody, Microsoft Works or Office Enterprise (assuming you need at least one of them for word processing and documents), Eztracks and eztracks toolbar, etc. Just don’t delete any Windows things, or java things or microsoft packages, audio related programs (realtek), drivers, etc.
    hope this helped

  2. Adobe Flash Player 10 ActiveX
    Adobe Flash Player 10 Plugin
    – you probably want to kep it for flash – YouTube etc.

    Adobe Reader 8.1.3
    – this is for viewing PDF files, leave it there

    Adobe Shockwave Player 11.5
    – might be useful for some pages too

    Agere Systems PCI Soft Modem
    – this is software for your internal modem
leave it, as you may need it for sending faxes one day

    Canon MP160 User Registration
    – remove it, you don’t need it

    eztracks
    EZ-Tracks toolbar
    – remove it
might not be easy, so check Google:
    http://www.google.com/search?q=eztracks+toolbar

    Help and Support Additions
    – this looks suspicious

High Definition Audio Driver Package – KB835221
    – this is your sound card driver, keep it

    Java 6
    – useful, keep it

    LiveReg (Symantic Corporation)
    – remove it

    Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1
    Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
    Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0
    Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5
    – a lot of software needs it, so it’s better to keep it

Microsoft Color Control Panel Applet for Windows XP
    – unless some other software you actually use depends on it, I would try to remove it

Microsoft Internationalized Domain Names Mitigation APIs
    – unless some other software you actually use depends on it, I would try to remove it

    Microsoft Money 2004 System Pack
    – remove it

Microsoft National Language Support Downlevel APIs
    – unless some other software you actually use depends on it, I would try to remove it

    Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007
    – this is one of the few useful programs on this list 😉

    Miscrosoft Visual C++ 2005 ATL Update kb973923-x86 8.0.50727.4053
    Miscrosoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable
    – some programs need it

    Miscrosoft Works 7.0
    – do you use Works? I doubt it, as you have Office. you can remove it

    MSXML 4.0 SP2
    – some programs need it

    NVIDIA GART Driver
    – this seems like your video card driver

    Quicken 2004
    – if you use Quicken, keep it, otherwise uninstall

    Quicktime
    – leave it, it’s useful on some websites

    Realtek AC’97
    – also seems like soundcard driver

    Rhapsody
    – if you use Rhapsody, keep it, otherwise uninstall

    S3 S3Display
    S3 S3Gamma2
    S3 S3Info2
    S3 S3Overlay
    – so, is your video card S3 or Nvidia? if it’s Nvidia, you can try uninstalling these

    TBS WMP Plugin
    – it’s a kind of spyware
if you can’t uninstall it, check this:
    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3376877/how-to-remove-tbs-wmp-plug-in

    VIA Rhine-Family Fast Ethernet Adapter
    – this is your network (Ethernet cable) driver

    VIA/S3G Display Driver
    VIA/S3G Display Driver
    – again your video card drivers – old or new?

    Viewpoint Media Player
    – it’s a kind of adware, try to remove it, read this:
